I am proud to report that the Y’s men club of young cochin has had a very eventful & productive year under the able leadership of our President Ym Lenny Sebastian and ably supported by our patron president Ym PWAF K.E.Alexander. We have achieved almost all the targets set for the year.
Installation
The installation of our team was held on 29th july 2005 . The installtion officer was RD Ym Jose Alphonse. The entire regional team was present. The installtion meeting was followed by various cultural activities.
Board Meeting.
Our Board meeting is regularly held on first Friday of every month at Lotus club Ernakulam. The meetings are well attended, documented and records kept.We have been prompt in sending our reports to RS ,RD ,&DG every month. We have also settled our dues promptly. Our club is in fine fettle as far as the financec are concerned.
Family Get Together
Our Family meetings are held on the third Friday of every month in a grand manner. The Mennettes & lings take great initiative in this regard.
Tours & Trips
Our club is well known for its apetite for tours & picnics. This year was also no exception. This year our tours were to Kuttikanam, Nelliampathy, Kallar & Njarackkal.
Major & Minor projects.
Our club visited the missionaries of charity at Pookattupady & spent half a day with the mentally challenged & aged inmates there. Our club donated Rs 25000 . Our Menettes & lings donated clothes. As the continuing minor projects our Menettes are also sponsoring a girl childs education for the last few years . We conducted two medical camps at Krishna hospital.
Achievements.
# Our club stood 21st in the region & 5tth in the district with 1975 pts.
# Our Bulletin was the Best in the District & the second best in the region.
# Ym Lenny Sebastian got the outstanding president award in the region
# Ylg Jacob George & Ylg Nikitha Paul stood first in the district interclub quiz competition held in oct 2005
# The President & Secretary got the Excellence award in the district II MWIR
#Our club participated with great enthusiasm in the District cultural meet held on Oct 2005 & bagged the Following awards
- Second best performing club
- club with highest participation
- best Menettes performance award was won by Ymt Veena Lenny
Responsibilities in Ys Dom
Ym Paul .J.Vithyathil was given the responsibility in the district as DSD for sports & in the region as RSD for TOF.
Ym Adv George Merlo has been nominated as one of the Deputy DG for 2006 . He is also been enrolled as PWAF .

We brought out a bulletin last year named Anamika.
Let me take this opportunity to thank all the members of the Ys Men club of young cochin for their active participation & also electing the same team for the second consecutive year. We also thank the District & Regional team for their timely advice & support.
